    Early Life

    Jason Segel is an American actor, writer, and musician.

    He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Despite being raised in his father's Jewish religion, Segel attended a Catholic school. Growing up, he had a passion for acting and participated in local theater productions during his school years.

    With his tall stature (6'4"), he also played on his high school basketball team.

    Career

    Jason Segel is best known for his collaborations with producer Judd Apatow, including films such as "Freaks and Geeks," "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," "I Love You, Man," and "The Five-Year Engagement."
