New England comedian turns family life into comic gold
Mike Hanley is the father of three girls, ages 17, 14 and 11. And it’s not easy.
“I’m barely holding up,” he said.

“It’s drama, drama and drama. There is enough drama and enough activities in my house. I’ve definitely reached my lifelong goal of owning a minivan, of having no life except driving from one activity to another.”
Hanley will take a short break from being his teens’ taxi driver to appear this weekend at Comix at Mohegan Sun, starting tonight.
"I always say to people, ‘If you’re married come to the show, and if you want to stay single for life come to my show,’ ” he said.
It’s not enough that he has three girls.
Include his wife and three cats, and Hanley is the only male in the household.
