Mahesh Narayanan Biography

Mahesh Narayanan is a film editor, writer and director associated with Malayalam cinema. He has also worked in Tamil cinema as an editor. As a film director he shot to fame with his directorial debut, Take Off released in 2017.

The movie starring Parvathy Thiruvothu, Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil and Asif Ali was a huge hit at box office and also accumulated numerous awards at various award functions.

He received IFFI Special Jury Award at 48th International Film Festival of India, and also special mention at National Film Festival. He also received Kerala State Film Award for Best Debut Director and best director award at Asianet Film awards for the movie.

As a director he has announced his next project, Maalik, expected to release in 2020.
