However, when '90s style made a huge resurgence in popularity, many fans of the show suddenly realized that Rachel Green is something of a fashion icon.

As the show's costume designer Debra McGuire told Vogue India, "Fashion is cyclical ... I don't think Rachel's fan base ever waned." In fact, McGuire said, Millennials tend to love Rachel's look. "High-waisted jeans are vintage, so are crop tops and oversized jackets," she explained.
"'90s pieces fly out of second-hand stores."
